Now on View
Works from the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection in the Mercedes-Benz Museum
The Mercedes-Benz Art Collection has been on permanent display at the Mercedes-Benz Museum since March 2024 with its collection presentation “Now on View”. Under this title, the renowned art collection is now providing insights into its portfolio in changing exhibitions. What’s special: The artworks are integrated into the permanent exhibition of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Visitors can immerse themselves in the media and thematic diversity of the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection on all levels of the Museum. The collection includes paintings, drawings and sculptures as well as installations, photographs and videos.
The current exhibition is showing more than 20 well-known artists – from modern classics such as Max Bill to protagonists of recent art history such as Nam June Paik and international stars of contemporary art such as Cao Fei and Philippe Parreno. The selection focuses on photographic works that tell stories in very different ways. Whether it is an exploration of the medium of photography and its history, the search for “the other” and oneself or the clash between everyday life and individual dreams – the photographs on display invite visitors to discover both familiar and unfamiliar worlds.
From 10 March, public guided tours for adults, young people or children will be offered every Sunday. More information about the offers, dates and booking can be found at www.mercedes-benz.com/nowonview .
