with loans from the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, in close collaboration with the Norman Foster Foundation, is organizing a major exhibition that explores the relevance of the automobile as it relates to the history of art and design in the past century. Curated by renowned British architect Norman Foster, Motion. Autos, Art, Architecture will occupy the entire second floor of the Museum. The exhibition will include a selection of 38 iconic, rarely seen vehicles, as well as some 300 pieces including paintings and sculptures by celebrated artists, photographs and audiovisuals, sketchbooks, and architectural models by some of last century’s most influential architects and designers. The Mercedes-Benz Art Collection is represented with several loans.
